Teachers Thank You gift set

Well, my son graduated preschool today, and I needed to come up with some gift ideas for his 2 teachers. In a earlier post, I posted a picture of the cards I made, so now I am showing the whole gift set (which I finished at the last minute, of course). I painted a claypot with acrylic paint, and then used rub ons for the teachers names. I made each teacher 2 sets of cards and the flower pot.

Happy Fathers Day

Made this card for a Fathers Day challenge for one of my groups. To save myself time, I made 3 of them. One for my husband, one for my father in-law, and one for the challenge.

Paper: I am unsure of the pattern paper, as I grabbed it out of a huge stash. CTMH cardstock.
Ink: staz on, and ranger distressing pad
Misc: brads, SU punch

Teacher's thank you cards

Well, that time of the year is coming. School is almost out, and so is my quiet mornings. Every year I ponder over what to get the teachers. This year, I decided I need to use my suppplies and make something. I bought these A Muse stamps with teacher thank you cards in mind a year ago, so I must use them.

Stamps: A Muse
Paper: A Muse designer paper, and CTMH cardstock
Ink: Staz on black, and my NEW prima markers (love them)
Misc: CTMH ribbon, marvy punches

Penquin addiction

I went to one of my local scrapbook stores and they a had the cute penquin stamps by

Imaginisce. Well, I liked them so much, I bought everyone they had left. I have no idea what I am going to do with them, but I NEEDED them. ALL of them. SO, needless to say I am addicted to the penquin stamp. Of course I had to go to SCS and see what they did, and the card that inspired my card was by Tosha Leyendekker. Her card oppped right out at me in the gallery. I had to attempt her card, and this is my version of her card.

A personal challenge

I did this card for a secret image challenge I participated in with SGGW. I consider myself more of a cutsy stamper/card maker, and this is a more serious/fancy image (at least for me). I have been putting off making this card for days, and today I finally forced myself to sit and create. Not very fancy, but not bad for out of my comfort zone. Sometimes it seems impossible, but I guess nothing is impossible.
